Position Overview: As a Security Guard with Enterprise Security Consulting and Training Inc., you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our client’s assets by contributing to maintaining a secure environment and promoting a sense of well-being within the community. Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol and Monitoring:
- Conduct patrols in a designated vehicle every half hour to monitor the property’s premises.
- Maintain a visible and vigilant presence to deter unauthorized access, vandalism, and other security threats.
- Regularly inspect common areas, facilities, and access points to ensure they are secure and free from potential hazards.
- Emergency Response:
- Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
- Implement appropriate protocols during emergencies, including coordinating with other security personnel, contacting emergency services, and guiding residents to safety.
- Access Control:
- Control access points to the property, verifying the identity of visitors and ensuring compliance with established entry procedures.
- Prevent unauthorized individuals from entering the premises, maintaining strict adherence to security protocols.
- Client Engagement:
- Interact professionally with clients, visitors, and staff, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, acting as a reassuring presence within the community.
- Collaborate with clients to address concerns and enhance community safety.
- Security Procedures and Protocols:
- Implement security protocols, policies, and procedures as outlined by Enterprise Security Consulting and Training Inc. and the client.
- Report any security breaches, suspicious activities, or incidents promptly to the designated supervisors.
- Communication and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of security activities, including patrols, incidents, and actions taken.
- Submit timely and comprehensive reports to designated agency personnel, ensuring clear communication and documentation.
- Training and Professional Development:
- Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance security skills, emergency response capabilities, and conflict resolution techniques.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and security trends to ensure effective performance.
Qualifications:
- Valid NYS security guard registration.
- Valid driver license may be required for some positions.
- Proven experience in security services.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain composed under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
- Familiarity with security technology and access control systems.
- Strong commitment to professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform routine patrols on foot and in a vehicle.
Working Hours:
- The position involves working an 8-hour shift per day, covering a range of day, evening, and overnight shifts.
- Availability for weekend and holiday shifts may be required based on operational needs.
Compensation:
- $16.80 – $18.00 per hour.
