We offer the training necessary for individuals to both obtain and maintain their status as New York State Registered Security Guards. One function of a security guard is to increase their job knowledge. We offer training in the areas of public safety and professional development to help security guards enhance their skillset. Training is delivered via in-person, virtual, and self-paced means.

Meet the qualifications – 18yrs of age or older and no serious criminal convictions.

STEP 2

Take the Eight Hour Pre-Assignment Training Course For Security Guards.

STEP 3

Schedule your fingerprint appointment with us by going to Digital Fingerprinting | Identogo

STEP 4

Download, complete and mail the NYS Security Guard and application fee to the New York State Department of State, Division of Licensing Services.

STEP 5

Get a job as a security guard.

STEP 6

Take the Sixteen Hour On-The-Job Training Course For Security Guards within 90 days of becoming a security guard.

NYS Mandated Training consists of the three training courses which need to be completed in order to obtain and maintain registration as a security guard in New York State.
