It sounds as though you took the Eight Hour Pre-Assignment Course through Blackhawk Security. Taking the class is only the first step in obtaining a NYS Security Guard registration. You now need to be fingerprinted, then fill out the NYS Security Guard Registration Application, and send it back with a copy of your training certificate, a copy of your receipt for fingerprinting and a check or money order for $36.00.
